Key periods of   the Bru house :

First period 1867 - 1877 : It is the time of the company Bru Jne et Compagnie.

Second period 1877 - 1883 : The factory belongs exclusively to the Bru family. The director is Léon Casimir Bru. 

Third period 1883 - 1889 : The company was bought by Henri Chevrot. This is the golden age of Baby Bru.

Fourth period 1889 - 1896 : It is Paul-Eugène Girard who is at the controls of the house Bru.

Fifth Period 1897 - 1899 : Eugène-Frédérique Girard's son, Eugène-Frédérique, runs the company until the date of the merger of the main French doll factories into the S.F.B.
