Discover her story below!
February 2, 1905 appeared the first issue of a new weekly for girls from 7 to 14 years old "La Semaine de Suzette".
To launch, the publisher Henri Gautier, decided to offer a doll to each new customer for the first 3 months.
Thus was born Bleuette who made havoc from the first week (stock of 20,000 dolls sold out).
In view of its success, Henry Gautier proposed it for the purchase and Bleuette immediately became the focus of "La Semaine de Suzette".
She would seduce thousands of little girls for 55 years until her death in 1960.
It has since been, like its trousseau, a coveted collector's item and the subject of many books.
